I did these place mats. I picked up 8 mats from the Mighty Dollar along with 3 packs of leaves. Each of these things cost $1 a piece. I heated up my glue gun and got to work. I glued leaves to the outer edge of the mat and then let them dry. With a gold plate in the center, it looks stunning! I used them at a ladies dinner at my church. The table turned out great!

My Favorite!

The second craft I am showcasing today is a Thanksgiving craft. I wanted a way to remember what we have to be thankful for. The kids have done all sorts of turkeys and fall crafts so I racked my brain and came up with this:

Each kid traced their hands and then I cut out multiples and everyday they write something that they are thankful for on a hand and then tape it to the foam poster board. I will write 2010 on it and then on the back use it next year for 2011. I think I am going to get some clear contact paper to put over it when we are done. That way from year to year, I can see what they are thankful for and what was important to them in that year. I can also see how big their hands have gotten as they grow. One day I hope to show their kids the board and compare their hands to their parents! I am sentimental like that!
So their you have it! Fantastic and it is Friday! Enjoy!!!!
