Welcome to my About Me page! I hope you will take your shoes off, put your feet up, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the Lone Tater.

I am the mother of 5 children, 4 living on the earth and 1 living in Heaven.

I am a passionate home school mom who has some of the best students in the world even if they are a smidge socially awkward.

I am a Christian conservative and most of my posts come from that view point. I hope that doesn't turn you off but I have learned that I cannot please everyone!

I have the absolute best husband on the world. We have been married for 13 years and are totally in love. He is handsome and kind and a great father. I adore that man!

I know that the title of my blog is weird but you can read all about it here .

I am pro-life in all instances including rape and incest. As a post abortive woman, I know the danger of having one way out weighs the inconveniences of giving birth. I co-facilitate a Bible study for women like myself and am always amazed at the similarities in our stories despite the lifestyle differences and reasons. I knew there was a reason I like you. I am pro-life. And one day, if God smiles and is thinking wouldn't it be funny and for some reason bump into each other in this great big world, I have a story to share.
But, by golly if you know someone who was raped and is now with child and they absolutely need guidance, by golly you email me and I will be ready to help.

Hi Sarita!

I'm now a faithful email subscriber to your blog, so you'll see more of me here in the comments as time goes on. Sorry to have not connected with you more in the past. I have to ask though... why The Lone Tater? I giggle a little when I say it because I grew up in Idaho and my high school mascot was a giant russet potato with a pitchfork and a crown. It was fabulous at football games to hear the other teams cheerleaders chant out "smash those taters!" {sarcasm in my voice right now} Lol! Hope you're having a blessed Sunday!
