Transparent Thursday

I confess that I hate yoga! I love working out and sweating! Yoga, no thanks! I do it because it is required in my work out program but I see no reason to twist and move that way. I am flexible so it isn't that but I just don't understand it. Maybe when she tells me to relax, it's the dog licking my face that I don't like!

I confess that I did not miss my kids at the beach this weekend. I enjoyed recharging and connecting with a friend.

I confess that I love count down shows. Top 100 One hit wonders of the 80s? Count me in? Watching 101 Gadgets That Changed the World right now!

I confess that I didn't like being pregnant. The sore boobs, throwing up, nausea, growing body, feeling someone step on my bladder from the inside, weird pains, swollen feet, hot flashes, a belly button that is 4 inches higher than God originally intended......uggghhhhh! No thanks! But I LOVE being a mom!

I confess that I have no bladder control. More like it controls me! 4 kids and massive surgery destroyed it! Watch out when I exercise, travel, jump, or work too long! Can't help it!

I love a rollercoaster! I can't wait to ride 1 tomorrow. I hope that I can still ride them without getting nauseous. So many of my friends say that they can't! I will tough it out so that hubby can't make fun of me!

I confess that I am having a secret love affair with Michael Buble. The secret is from Mr. Buble not my hubs. He knows but Buble is still in the dark!

I confess that I love being married to a geek. Not just any geek but a hot one! He can fix or help me with any computer related problem that I might have!

Transparent Thursday

I confess that I have all these confessions during the week that I forget to write down and then I just forget altogether.

I confess that I cannot take the heat like I used to.

I confess that I sweat. Not glisten, not shimmer! SWEAT!!! Rivulets run down my abdomen and back and under other places, if you know what I mean!

I confess that I have never been to IKEA. I know, I know! Some sort of sacrilege, right?

I confess that stress is very real in my life! The freezer on my fridge broke on Saturday and at midnight, we were moving stuff to the freezer downstairs. Yesterday, I was told I had an oil leak on my 1999 van. "Ma'am, on a scale of 1-10, this is an 8." Great! On a scale of 1-10, my stress level is an 11!

I confess that the lady who does the work out video I am doing bothers me. Not her voice or her peppiness but her feet. They seem gigantic compared to her legs and height. I can't help but stare at them while I am exercising.

I confess that I am SOOOOOO glad that softball season is over! This year has been full of coaches with bad attitudes and miscommunication. Not sure if we are playing next year because of it!

I confess that if you are reading this, I am either on my way to Hilton Head Island or already there with some lady friends of mine! Maybe this will help my other confessions!

Friday Confessional

Mamarazzi is hosting a Friday Confessional. She does this every week. I am linking up the Tater for the 1st time. I confess that I do my confessing on Transparent Thursdays.
So what is left? I will confess my results for the Turbo Fire that I have been reviewing.
I confess that I have lost a whopping 1 lb!!! That could just be a scale glitch!

I confess that I have lost 1/2 inch in my right thigh :), 1/2" in my bum, 1/2" in my hips. My tummy and waist have stayed the same and I lost 1 inch under my boobs. So all in all, I am happy just 2 weeks in. I feel like I sit up taller and my abs are a little tighter. I am a little less jiggly all the way around. I confess that I have enjoyed this week's workout schedule more than the 1st week. I know more about what I am doing and I am sweating! Gotta be burning calories!

One Mommy confesses that she needs more mommy time(I feel ya, Mommy. I am getting some this weekend)

Alison at Mama Wants This confesses that she spent 5 hours on Twitter when Blogger was down last week! ( I spent a lot on Facebook).

"I like big Butts and I cannot lie" I confess that I know all the words to this song and as I was watching One Hit Wonders of the 90s, I got to sing it all over again! I relate to this song especially since I have a big bum!

I confess that I have gained 5 lbs. I haven't been exercising regularly and eating right but that changes tomorrow! Stay tuned for my plan!

I confess that I have voted every week for the contestants on American Idol. I confess that I love me some Scotty! The 16 year old girl who lives inside of me has a crush on him. Laura Alaina rocks the house too!

I confess that I want to go on vacation this year but alas we cannot afford it!

I confess that my hubby not having a full-time job for 3 years is stressful! Never knowing what is going to happen from week to week can really put a tax on you! But I am relying on God to get us through. We have never gone without and we are truly blessed!

Transparent Thursday

These are things that I confess are driving me crazy or at least somewhat zany!

1. I confess that my house is a mess. It is dusty and cluttered. I have no time to deep clean and no money to hire someone. I am enjoying my kids though, so that is important!

2. I want to kick this coach's teeth into the back of the his head! He uses his knowledge of the rules to beat down other teams to his advantage. Aaaaaggghhhh! Watch youtube! I could be on it!

3. I hate peanut butter!

4. I cannot survive without the internet! We were down for several days and I liked to drove myself crazy.

5. My dog could out run any of those horses in the Derby. He is a beast who is runs like the wind!

6. I have an amazing husband! He works hard when he can! He is a great father and an even better hubs!

7. I don't think the episode involving OBL is as neat as the administration wants us to believe it is. I think there are other things going on! Call me a conspiracy freak or whatever but I do not trust my government!

8. I hear that OBL's family is protesting the burial of their patriarch. Well, too dadgum bad! Did he consider the burial processions of the innocent people in both the Twin Towers atrocities? How about the Cole bombing? How about the bombings of the embassies in Africa? Decent burial? You are lucky that he is not passed around NY and being pissed on! I can promise that where he is right now he would gladly trade for a pass around NY! No rest for you OBL!

Transparent Thursday

1. I confess I was the woman at the gas station doing calf raises while filling up my minivan. Since it takes hundreds of $$$$ and lots of time, I am simply multitasking. My van is full and my calves are in better shape.

2. I confess that the birds outside my windows DRIVE ME NUTS!!!!! On the days, I want to sleep in they begin to speak to one another and then gather around my bedroom windows. The chirping begins in earnest then. Squeak, squeak, squawk, squawk, cheep, cheep, tweet, tweet. If I had my gun, they would be dinner. Someone call the NRA!

3. I confess that I love a nap. I would rather nap than exercise, read, or clean! 2 hours in my bed is worth so much more in the life of my family!

4. I confess that I am confused! Some people that I thought I could trust, I am finding out that I may not be able to. That hurts! For people to be purposefully hurtful, to me, is a foreign concept. I would never seek to harm someone or ruin their reputation or integrity.

Transparent Thursday(A Day Late)

I confess that I am a day late this week! I have had such a hectic week with work and softball.
But confession is good for the soul so here is 1 from Caren with a "C"

I sometimes eat the last cookie. You can't really split it 4 ways, right?

I have done that to maintain the peace in my household so I feel you, Caren!

I love March Madness! Basketball season is great! I watch all the games, if I can. I fill out a bracket and compete with others and yes I want to win! I am not a blind follower. I love my Tar Heels but they are not going to win it all so I filled out my bracket accordingly. If they win the championship, I will be surprised and happy. If they don't, I won't be surprised and hopefully my bracket will win!

Dust bunnies do not exist in my house! Dust monsters do! I could dust every day and still have dust everywhere!

People surprise me! Those who are supposed to have feelings for me, don't and those who don't, do! I just don't understand! I am constantly seeking for someone(in particular) to love me but I am always rejected! I think though that I want that person to feel rejection just as painfully as I do. That is not a Christian attitude!
