Friday Confessions

I haven't confessed in so long.  My friend Mamarazzi took a break and so did I but I felt the need today and since I have done this before, I jumped right in.  So, here goes!

I confess that I can be awfully judgmental at times but sometimes people deserve it.  Admit it you do it, too.  When you dress or act a certain way, then you are just asking for people's judgment.  For instance, I saw these young children at a store(guess which one. I bet you can).  The mom looked completely overwhelmed.  Her kids were talking to her like she was a piece of dirt under their shoes.  The behavior was utterly disrespectful to her AND she was allowing it!  I surmised that the kids ruled her house.  What will they be like as teens?  I prayed for her right then and there!

I confess that tourists crack me up!  I live in a town that gets lots of tourists and not a week goes by that I don't meet someone going down a one way street the wrong way.  The other night I encountered one as we passed the local police station.  WOW!  Maybe one way means something else everywhere else.

I confess that I am loving this summer weather.  Here in the mountains of WNC, we have been cool and rainy!  We have only been in the low 80s and upper 70s so far.  When I lived in Savannah, we called that autumn.  I know it will get warmer but for now, I am reveling in it!

I confess that  I should feel more guilty for the joy that I am feeling knowing that I will be child free for a week!  But, we don't have family close by to let us go on regular date nights, so we take advantage when we get some time alone.  WHOOP WHOOP!  What are we going to do?  Sleep!!!!

I confess that I learned what be neither a borrower or lender truly means.  Both makes one a slave to the other.  I am hurt by the actions of others but alas, I will let it pass.  Like The Who said, I won't be fooled again.

I confess that I have a HUGE announcement for everyone on Monday, July 1st.  I almost can't keep the secret!

I hope you have a great weekend!

Photobucket

Mamarazzi is taking a much needed break from blogging.  Head over to see Aubrey on High-Heeled Love.  She is a blogger from SC!  I am glad to hook up with her!

I confess that I am mad at our lawn mowers.  Neither one works and our grass is a foot tall.

I confess that my hubby says he can fix it and I believe him...but shhhh, secretly I want a new one.

I confess that my hubby built me a computer from stuff he had and other stuff he got at Goodwill.  I wanted a tablet but this will do!  It only cost $15 as opposed to $300+ so I am happy.

I confess that our service to commission 54 missionaries to go out to the mission field was amazing.  Some of them are going to very dangerous parts of the world that are dark and in need of the light of Jesus Christ.

I confess that I wish I could go.  I have gotten the call but my hubby has not yet and our debt is well, too big!

I confess that I asked God not to send me somewhere where women are 2nd class citizens.

I confess that I am fearful that that is exactly where God is going to send us.

I confess that this weather has been dreamy.  50s at night and 70s and sunny during the days...ahhhhhhh!

I confess that the news this week has disturbed me!  I am praying and earnestly asking the Lord for guidance and wisdom for our leaders.  This is a perilous time in which we live!

I confess that I have said numerous times, "Lord, come quickly!"  However, there are 3100+ people groups who have never had the opportunity to hear the soul-saving, life-changing gospel of Jesus.

I hope that you are having a great weekend!  Enjoy some football and fun and family!

"Fess up Friday

I have been trying to hold my tongue.  On Facebook, I have been so well behaved but since this is my blog, I am gonna speak my peace.  BE WARNED:  Go no further if you don't wish to be offended.  Hook up with Mamarazzi(if she will still have me) for you confessions.  I look forward to hearing your confessions.

I confess that I am looking forward to taking some of the youth girls to Charlotte, NC for a girls conference called Worthy.  I am so excited to spend some time with these young women of God.  Pray for us, if you are praying people.  We leave Friday afternoon and return Saturday evening.  We will be finding our worth in God rather than other people or the world.

I confess that the DNC platform change has disturbed me.  I am an independent woman voter and this was terrible.  The very name of God was booed and Israel and Jerusalem was booed while abortion was cheered.  If you are despising the name of God and celebrating the murder of unborn children, then you are not my party.

I confess that there is no way to argue the above.  People are so divided that I don't know if there is any middle ground.

I confess that I am an independent, Christian, conservative.  I am not a Republican.  I am not a Democrat.  I believe though that all life is sacred and that mocking God and life is not cool!  I would forsake my core beliefs if I felt that someone could fix the problem for my kids and  grandkids.

I confess that I am over the politics.  I wish it were over already!

Hook up with Mamarazzi if you want to confess.  Have a great weekend!

More confessions!  I hope you have a great weekend!

I confess that Labor Day weekend is upon us and for us here in Hendo that means Apple Festival.

I confess that I am already tired thinking about this weekend and how tired I am going to be on Monday.

I confess that I have written a couple of posts about apple festival weekend so check them out here.

I confess that for this weekend any hope of diet or exercise is thrown out the window.  I have no time for exercising and no time for cooking so I guess I will begin again on Monday.

I confess that I want to talk about shoes.  I picked these beauties up at a thrift store for $1.40.  They are Tommy Hilfiger and they were my size!  Super cute!

I confess that I love taking my kids on field trips.  Thanks to our educational sponsors, Maga and Granddaddy, we went to Myrtle Beach for the day.  We had a blast!  See....
1st time with his feet in the water

Not for them!

3rd Grade this year!

1st!

What? 5th?  How time flies!

Not to be left out!

Putt Putt with our generous benefactor!
I confess that football is finally here and everyone in our home is happy!

I confess that I love football!  Love, I mean, love!

I confess that I came home from aforementioned trip and my hubby had washed and changed our sheets, did 3 loads of laundry, swept, cleaned our room and worked all week!  Who is a lucky girl?  Me, that's who!

I confess that I love that man!

I confess that I need to get ready for work!  Ugh!  30 hours in 3 days!  Waiting tables!

Head over to Mamarazzi and link up with her party and see what she is confessing about her hubs!

'Fess Up Friday

Time again to confess!  I am really exhausted right now so my confessions may be all over the place.  Head over to Mamarazzi for a more coherent confessional if you so choose.

I confess that my son's face as he was wheeled away from me yesterday in the hospital was almost more than I could take.  He never cried out or screamed but he wept silent tears!  Tough!

I confess that holding on my chest for the past few days has brought back sweet memories of him sleeping on my chest in the NICU when he was only 4 lbs.

I confess that I am so glad to not hear him breathing.  He used to sound like Darth Vadar but now he breathes quietly!  His future wife will thank me someday!

I confess that my hubby actually agreed with me that we need to challenge each other to do Insanity.  Now, I just need to get that in writing!

I confess that the Olympics has me all riled up!  I love watching our young people compete.  USA USA USA!

I confess that I am glad that I have started the kids back to school!  Truth be told, they were getting a little bored!  All of my students are doing so well!

That's it for now!  Have a great weekend!  Check out my post from yesterday if you want to see what went on with AJay's surgery!

I confess that this situation with Chick Fil A makes me sick!  The pro-gay marriage people are doing the very things that they accuse Christians of.  Twisting words, intimidation, lying, bullying are not appropriate ways to handle the situation.  We are a capitalist society so let the market speak.  People either will or will not support.  CFA's decision to close on Sundays have not harmed them.

I confess that if S. Truett Cathy and Dan Cathy were Muslims, this would be a non-issue!.  No mayor or elected official has a right to say that a business cannot operate in their city or district due to religious beliefs.  What the heck is going on in this country?  Even the ACLU came out in support of CFA's right to have a business wherever they want!  I NEVER agree with the ACLU but I guess there is a 1st time for everything.

I confess that I will be attending the support CFA day on August 1st.  I will also be kissing my husband in support of the kiss in that is supposed to happen on August 3.  Those having the kiss-in at CFA will never find more loving or supportive people to protest!  Good luck!

I confess that Six Flags over Ga was a blast this week!  My kids earned free tix for reading this year.  I earned a free ticket for being their teacher.  So much fun!

I confess that we ate at CFA twice during our trip.  The people there are always so nice and friendly no matter which one you patronize!

I confess that I am not nervous about my 4YO's surgery next week.  He is having his monstrous tonsils and adenoids removed. They are the size of a full grown adult male.  They keep him from breathing well at night so he suffers from sleep apnea.  So glad to hear him breathe correctly!

I confess that I am stoked about the Olympics beginning this evening!  I hope Michael Phelps wins a whole boat load of gold medals!  Good luck to the entire American team!

What are you in need of confessing?  Head over to Mamarazzi and see what her husband confessed for her since she is feeling a little peaked!

'Fess Up Friday

What a week!  Whew!  I need to confess just for my sanity!  So hook up with Mamarazzi and confess yourself. Also, read some confessions from others.  So here goes!

I confess that I am loving me some Dallas.  The theme song gets me going and reminds me of my childhood!  It is a great show!

I confess that I skeptical about Dallas but it has proven to be a fantastic summer show!

I confess that my scalp is driving me crazy!  I have some sort of thing going on with it.  Pieces of my scalp and chunks of hair are causing me much grief!  It is getting better with T-Gel but not cured.

I confess that my emotions are all over the place recently.  I have had some family issues going on and work things.  I am just over it!

I confess that I am tired of people ignoring my feelings in favor of theirs.  My feelings are as important as others but some narcissistic people don't think so.  Everything is all about them!  So done!

I confess that this week at work has been a doozy!  I was bitten at work(a restaurant) by a dog.  A Yorkshire Terror, I mean, Terrier.  I can't even brag about it being a German Shepherd or Pit Bull but an 8lb dog!  The owners never even apologized!  I had to have a Tetanus shot.  Not happy!

I confess that we had to give our black lab mutt away.  My kids are so sad and so are we.  I think we might get another for Christmas!  We will see!

Time again for my weekly confessional.  Hope your week has gone well.  Check out Mamarazzi and her Bitty Bit confessional.

I confess that this week has been both great and sucky!

I confess that the previous confession is because of menopause.

I confess that I need to take something but I am scared.  I am too young(38) and don't want to be on hormones forever.

I confess that my hubby wants something to give.

I confess that I need a hormone test.  I don't want to pay for it(no insurance).

I confess that I am enjoying my time not doing school with the kids.  I am getting stuff done.  Yep yep I am!

I confess that I planted my garden and I am a little behind.  But, since my tomatoes and cukes produced until November last year, I am not overly concerned.  I planted tomatoes, zucchini, corn, cukes, and jalapenos.

I confess I am nervous about canning them.  I have never canned before.

I confess that my hubby passed his big, HUGE test to be a licensed surveyor in SC.  Now he is certifiable certified in 2 states.  More marketable!

I confess that my confessions are all over the place kind of like my brain.  Y'all are getting a glimpse into my crazy, mixed up head!

I confess that I am done!  Have a great weekend and remember those soldiers who have fought for your freedom!  Happy Memorial Day!

'Fess Up Friday

Time to head to Mamarazzi and confess for the life of your soul!  See what others are confessing and confess for yourself!  Here are my confessions for this week:

I confess that my 20th high school reunion is coming up and I am a bit nervous about it!  I have never been to one before so this is the 1st time I will see the people I graduated with in person.

I confess that perimenopause is a mean ol' salty b-word!  I am over her and I have to just graduate to her older meaner sister MENO-B!  Not happy about that!

I confess that my son ordered an adult pay per view movie off of the TV at $24 while at the grandparents. It was called Horney Coeds!  It was embarrassing to all involved except my son who wasn't even watching the show when they walked in the room.  Just wait until his wedding day!  I just can't believe it!

I confess that my scale has an agenda that doesn't involve me.  Why, oh why, must you act this way?

I confess that people who don't obey traffic laws are gonna be the death of me!  Can't you stop at a stop sign or NOT stop at a yield sign ?  Really.?

I confess that I carbed it out on Easter.  Is there no better way than to say My Lord and Savior is Risen than with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes?  Thank You, Lord for Resurrecting!

Have a great weekend!

'Fess Up Friday

Hey, Y'all!  Time for confession y'all!  So needed this!  What are y'all needin' to confess?  Head on over to Mamarazzi for confession time and let's hear it!  Woot!  Woot!

I confess that this sickness in my house is driving me crazy!  AAAgggghhh!  I only got 2 days but everyone else has gotten weeks!  So done!

I confess that shopping for my swap partner has been so much fun!  I can't wait to ship it to her!  I love this game!

I confess that people who can't tip on Valentine's Day suck!  How romantic that you take your special someone out and then leave 10% or less for the tip!  She would be so proud!

I confess that I love my Valentine!  He is amazing even if he is sick!

I confess that I am not happy about the idea that my baby might have to have surgery on his adenoids.  He is so little and so sweet!  Please, no, Lord!

Anyway, short and sweet but alas, that is what it is!   Too tired to care!  Love y'all!  My birthday is next week and I expect lots of presents!

'Fess Up Friday

I confess that I played Words with Friends in totally inappropriate places...while homeschooling, while grocery shopping, in bed, at work...Is there a support group for this?

I confess that I used a cheat program on a random guy who I know was cheating. What is a soja? I won't play him again! I did not use it on anyone I know!

I confess that I have been sick and haven't worked out for nearly 10 days! I feel like a slug but last week I was depressed and this week I couldn't speak or swallow. I guess I will get skinny in February!

I confess that I hope to be picked for Mamarazzi's Favorite Things Swap! I am a newbie so I guess I will have to hope for the best!

I confess that I got my knickers all in a bunch this week! Someone I know called everyone who is pro life close-minded, primitive zealots. When I looked up the definition of close-minded, well she fit that description: someone who is intolerant of views other than his/her own. AGGGGHHHHH! At least argue the facts and don't name call or belittle someone. We live in a big enough country to have different beliefs.

I confess that I was excited about Susan G Komen Foundation's decision to cut funding for Planned Parenthood. Then I was disappointed that they decided to pull the plug on pulling the plug. There is a link between abortion and breast cancer. Why would SGK want to sponsor and organization that wants to increase abortions world wide by 82%(read here). What? How is that healthy for anyone? I think most people agree that abortion should not be used as birth control but what is that about?

I confess that my head is exploding with all the mud throwing going on in the political world. Obama is increasing jobs....Obama is decreasing jobs. Gingrich is a womanizer....Gingrich is like any other politician he just got caught. Romney is a liberal....Romney is a conservative. Paul is crazy....Paul is crazy. Facts...unemployment is over 10% if you look at actual numbers. The only real jobs were created by the government. Check out the chart put for by the Congressional Budget outlook. Can any one person just tell us the truth? Why do all these things have to be clouded in smoke and spun by the media? We, the people, know the truth! We are the ones struggling day to day and week to week! We are the ones cutting back on our spending, losing our jobs, losing our homes, etc while the govt keeps spending and taxing and spending and taxing! How about the congressmen and women and senators get real jobs with real budgets and accountability and shut up with all the BS they are throwing at us?

I confessed weeks ago that I was gonna be confessing some things about the politics and elections going on! Well, you were warned! And my knickers are in a bunch. I better go iron them out! Hope you enjoyed these confessions! If not, well........maybe next week's will be better. Head on over to Mamarazzi and link up! Tell her I sent you!

Mamarazzi is at it again!  Confessing and having fun doing it.  Hop over to her site to join in the fun!

I confess that I don't quite get the deal with Skinny Scoop.  I haven't had time to try it thoroughly!

I confess that I don't like this funk I have been in!

I confess that Words with Friends is going to be the death of me.

I confess that I didn't know that there were others out there struggling through the same emotions concerning their husbands being un or underemployed!

I confess that I am running a 10K on Saturday and I don't know why!  6.4 miles?  In the rain?  Well, yes, sign me up!  My goal is under 1 hour and 10 minutes.

I confess that this weekend is always hard for me.  It is Sanctity of Life Sunday.  All life is precious!  I miss my son every day.  If you are so inclined.  Come back tomorrow for the 1st part of my 2 part series on my story!

'Fess Up Friday

First confessional of 2012.  You can expect some doozies this year since it is an election year.  I will have lots of nasty thoughts and will need an outlet to confess!

I confess that I want some snow.  Not the piddling little mess we got the other day but inches!  I like it!

I confess that I have sprayed Febreze on my sports bra so that I wouldn't have to do laundry but could have support for the girls while I exercised.  Lazy, right?

I confess that I feel bad for that last confession but since it is the truth, I will just roll with it.

I confess that I am already tired of the 2012 politics that have been going on since the last election.  The media is picking the candidates by trying to ruin all the viable conservative ones.  By the time I get to vote, the candidate is already picked and I really have no choice.  I don't like it!  Mitt Romney is not conservative.  The only true ones are Paul, Santorum, Huntsman, and Cain.  Look how they are treated by the media.....lunatic, crazy Christian, who's heard of Huntsman, and womanizer.  They have the best ideas for getting this country back on track.

I confess that "the 99" is kicking my butt!  But I have lost 4 pounds so far this week so keep kicking it!

I confess that I am jealous of my father in law's retirement.  It will be unlikely if things keep going on this way, that my hubby and I will be able to!  I am proud for him though!

I confess that I am sad that a dear friend has passed on but I am also happy that she is in no more pain now.  She had been suffering for years and she is finally free and meeting Jesus face to face.

I confess that I had a little pride at an article I wrote being published on wikimommy.  Check out my original post about it here.  Go me!

I hope everyone has a great weekend.  Head over to Mamarazzi and vent your confessions to her too.

'Fess Up Friday

A day late, a dollar short.  I am a day late to Mamarazzi's party but I know I can still confess.  Frankly, it is my favorite part of the week besides Sunday morning worship and Monday night with my home group. So here's to it!  Have a great weekend!

I confess that I love Veterans.  I will go out of my way even crossing a restaurant to say thanks.  Last week, we met a man who fought in WWII.  He was so cute and funny and fascinating.  He was touched that my husband(who was on crutches) and I would stop and speak to him.  He told us that he used to operate the radio for Radio Free Europe.  He was absolutely amazing!  I took cookies to  the Vets in my neighborhood and a friend.  It is not a lot but a small token of our appreciation.

I confess that I love basketball!  And for me it started last night with the Tarheels playing Michgan St on the US Carl Vincent.  A freaking air craft carrier!  It was amazing!  I could have done without the politicking from the president but what can I say!  We begin the walk towards March Madness!

I confess that I stayed up too late last night.  Netflix was acting crazy and I couldn't get stuff to play without stopping and finally I stopped and read my book.  Before I knew it, it was really late!

I confess that I forgot how great a write Agatha Christie was.  I got a book recently from the library and it is good.

I confess that I am sick of being sick.  I already took an antibiotic.  Got better.  Got sick again!  Yuck!  Must be the little monsters I have around here kissing on me and all.  I take Vitamin C but it doesn't seem to be helping!

This list was a lot of randomness!  Thank God bloggy land is forgiving and can keep up!  What are y'all confessing?  Hop on over and link up!

'Fess Up Friday

Time for confession is here!  I hope that you are all well and that confession is making you feel like you are free.  Check out Mamarazzi and her admissions this week.  You WON'T be disappointed!

I confess that this week has been crazy what with an extra person to care for and doctors appointments and work and regular home life.

I confess that this week has been full of crazy, unexplained blessings.  God really has been showing Himself this week.

I confess that my family makes me crazy.  Not my kids and hubby though they are guilty sometimes but my extended family.  I can't say too much cause they might read it and get their feelings hurt.  We are a very sensitive people.

I confess that I am glad to get to know some other people who have similar family issues like mine.  Great to know that I am not alone.

I confess that my 12 year old van is in much need of some TLC from a mechanic.  My hubby was gonna fix it but well, seeing as he can't walk very well, I doubt he will be dropping the engine out and getting it fixed.  Right now, we have to choose between heat and breathing in carbon monoxide.  I confess that sometimes I choose the CO because it has been mucho cold here recently.!

I hope you have enjoyed these confessions!  I feel better but come back next week I know I will be confessing something that has to do with the family thing and the fallout from that.  Did I mention that we are a sensitive bunch? ;)

'Fess Up Friday

The weekend is here and that means confessions.  Yep that's right!  Confession is a way to clear the conscience before the weekend comes.  Head over to Mamarazzi and check out her confessions along with lots of others.

I confess that I went to WalMart in my pajama bottoms.  Yep I did it!  Perpetuated a sterotype, huh?  Well, I still looked better than most people there and I didn't make People Of Walmart's website.  It is not for the faint of heart, BTW.

I confess again this week like I did last week that I am a Scrooge when it comes to Halloween.

I confess that I lost $30 at work last night.  I got upset but that is sometimes the way the cookie crumbles.  I ended up finding it later tucked into the waistband of my pants(don't even think about asking).  I knew that God would provide.

I confess that I don't understand these Naughty Nurse and sexy witch costumes.  Since when did dressing up for your hubby in the bedroom(not that I do or that I don't that is not my confession), become the way we dress on Main St or at a bar?

I confess that I think I look better in my winter clothes than I do in my summer ones!  I love having the long sleeves.  I love that cooler weather is here!

I confess that I love the way our mountains look in fall.  They are beautiful!  I am so blessed to live here!

I confess that having Binod and Soraswati in from Nepal was such a blessing to our family.  We got outside our comfort zones and were so blessed by the Lord.  If you are not familiar with this story, head over here to see The Faces of Refugees.

I hope that you all have a great weekend!  Pictures of my creative children will be posted all weekend!

'Fess Up Friday

Hey, Y'all!  I hope that all is going well in the Blogosphere!  Confession time!  Mamarazzi is our gracious hostess again this week.  Head on over to her site and check out her confessions!  Here are mine:

I confess that I do not like Halloween.  I am not sure if I ever have.  Why spend $$$$ on a costume that they will wear once when we can barely afford shoes they need?  My kids think that I have lost my mind but my hubs agrees with me.

I confess that I love Halloween candy but only the good kind.

I confess that I still have candy in the pantry from last year's haul.

I confess that I need to clean out my pantry.

I confess that Steel Magnolias gets me every time.  I cry like a baby and I have seen it dozens(literally) of times.

I confess that I am excited that our family has decided to host some refugees from Clarkston, Ga.  They aren't originally from Clarkston but from all over the world. The people we are housing are Hindu.  They have never seen the mountains or the leaves change quite like they do here in western North Carolina.

I confess that I am nervous about hosting this family.  They don't speak a lot of English.  I am nervous that they won't like us or will think badly of us.  But I am trusting the Lord to enrich our lives through this experience.

If you would like more info on the refugees and what you can do to help.  Check out Friends of Refugees.

'Fess Up Friday

I confess that this sickness has kicked my butt this week. Tired? That doesn't even begin to cover it!

I confess that having 3 parties in 4 days, plus home school, plus work, plus aforementioned sickness is about more than I can take.

I confess that I am getting old.  I am telling my children constantly to turn down the TV when they are watching something.  I tell my hubby to turn it up when I am watching something.

I confess that I am having a difficult time watching my parents age.   They are having a hard time getting around and are in pain constantly.  My dad seems to have aged 15 years in the last year.  I don't how much longer they can live like that.

I confess that I have neglected my blog this week in favor of sleep and school.

I confess that I have neglected my house this week as evidenced by the dust elephants lying around.  No one else seems to notice but me.  Let's not discuss the big elephant in the room.  If we ignore him, he might go away!

I confess that I came as close to slapping a waitress as I ever have last night.  We went to a restaurant that was under new ownership.  We went with a large group.  As a server, I am EXTREMELY understanding.  I can accept poor/slow service and even being forgotten about.  What I cannot accept, however, is for said forgetter to then smart off to me!  I know what it is like being busy with large parties but I never take it out on my guests.  I left a 15% tip for the 1st time in decades and complained to the manager.  I will not go back!

I confess that Mamarazzi is one of my fave bloggers and I am thankful for her linkup today!

'Fess Up Friday-Confessions of a 7 YO

In honor of my sweet, precious, beautiful daughter's 7th birthday, I will be writing all my(her) confessions from a 7 YO's point of view. Mamarazzi is partying over on her site so go and check her out! So give my Baby Girl some love and read her(my) confessions. She is an amazing kid!!!!!!

1) I confess that I made Mommy sick every day for the first few months I was in her tummy.

2) I confess that Mommy's bladder was my favorite playground.

3) I confess that I couldn't wait to be born so I came 4 weeks early(much to Mommy's relief).

4) I confess that Mommy and Daddy were surprised to hear that I am a girl. I knew it all along!

5) I confess that once Mommy fed me, it was on! I didn't want a bottle or Daddy for that matter. My sister can be the Daddy's girl but as for me, Mommy all the way!

6) I confess that I was a little thing. Mommy says that I only weigh 5 lb 11 oz and can fit in the palm of her hand.

7) I confess that people say I am a mini me of Mommy with blond hair and blue eyes. That is a compliment(for Mommy ;) ).

8) I confess that I love my family, even my 2 brothers and my sister is my best friend. I am so happy God gave me to Mommy and Daddy.

9) I confess that I am almost always happy. I have a twinkle in my eye and a ready smile. Daddy mentioned something about boys and a shotgun. I am not sure what he means by that but he looks awfully serious when he says it.

10) I confess that I love Jesus and He lives in my heart. I know that I am going to Heaven one day and that I have a brother who lives there and is waiting for me.

That is all the confessing I am doing cause now it is party time! I have a few friends coming to sleep over at my house and I need to show off my new dangly earrings. Mommy said that I can't wear them until I am 7 and guess what? Today is the day! My Mommy made me a doughnut cake with pink and blue icing and purple sprinkles just like I wanted. So, gotta run! Happy birthday to me!

'Fess Up Friday

WOW! Friday already! Well, let's see what I have in my bag of confessions for today! It was a crazy week and my bag runneth over. Hook up with Mamarazzi and confess away! She has quite a confessional herself this week! Let's just say that she has gotten some things off her chest!

I confess that I am proud of Mamarazzi for her very bold confession.

I confess that we have way too much junk in our house. I cleaned out the linen closet, coat closet, and the china cabinet, which ironically had very little china in it. I got about 4 1/2 bags of trash or giveaway stuff 3 of which were black bags. So glad to get rid of that mess. I dropped it off that day!

I confess that my linen closet will not stay as organized as it is right now.

I confess that my shower curtains were gross! I got some new ones but washed the old ones for back ups.

I confess that I love cheering my baby on in baseball. He doesn't like it but wanted to play and we are making him finish the season. We want him to know that he has to finish what he starts especially when a team is depending on him.

I confess that I have been enjoying my break from school with the kids. I listen to Glenn Beck and get things done. I can barely breathe when I am teaching them much less get anything else done.

I confess that I don't hate the Facebook changes as much as most. I just don't get all up in arms over minor things like that! I can't change it so just roll with it.

I confess that I am disappointed in the few numbers of people who have entered my design contest. I WILL NOT take it personally! I won't!

I confess that 34 degree lows this weekend are sending chills up my spine and I like it! Bring on the cooler weather!

What are you confessing this week? Let's hear it!
