Isabela, the dalmation
Halloween this year was slim and all of the costumes were bought for us or home made. I am proud of my 8 YO DD who made her own costume. She came up with the idea and made it happen. It looked so cute and meant more because she did it on her own. AJay, my youngest son, didn't want to participate at all. He was scared of masks and face paint, etc. We finally got him into a Spiderman costume from last year. Here are the parade of pictures. Enjoy my little monsters!!!!
Rexy(Summie)
Jesse(Ella)
3 of my little monsters
Isabela and AJay, not dressed of course!
They all look great ! Your 8 y/o did so well with her look all on her own!
ReplyDeleteWe completed our family costumes for under $5 this year!
My 5 y/o went as a viking (from how to train your dragon) he had a viking hat from a past gift from my parents, armor and sword from the dollar store and I purchased a thrift store fuzzy womens sweater that I cut apart to look like an animal skin vest. We used the arms of the sweater to make fake 'boots' as well! He was thrilled!
and my 2 y/o as a dragon - hand-me-down costume from when our first born wore it as a two year old (bought at a thrift store at that time as well!)
The best time to buy costumes - NOW! :)
Awesome costumes!
ReplyDeleteThanks Girls!

Visiting from the Goose Tribe over at SITS! Your daughter did a great job on her costume. You have a bunch of cuties!

Your daughter is super creative! She must have felt exceptionally special in her costume because she came up with and made the whole thing. Congratulations to her from a fellow artist!
ReplyDeleteThe other costumes were also wonderful. Did your children get together to help each other decide on what to wear or what to be? Looks to me like a creative bunch!
Great job, kids! You all get an A+
Thanks for stopping by my blog today, Sarita. I noticed I had not signed up for your postings. So sorry, just a terrible mistake. I'm signed up now though.
Visiting from Goose and Giraffe Tribes.
Thanks, Donna. No they just wore what we had or what was given to them. Not a lot of money this year for this kind of stuff!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about the signing up stuff. I realize that I am not doing as much as I can. Life sometimes gets in the way of blogging!
SO CUTE! I love the Jessie costume. toy Story 3 is a big hit in our house now and both of my boys wanted to be Buzz Lightyear... I couldn't find a single Buzz costume anywhere though!
