'Fess Up Friday

Time to lay it all on the line! They say confession is good for the soul. So here goes!!! If you would like to join my confession, the head on over to Mamarazzi and link up!

I confess that I burnt the skin off the roof of my mouth while eating fried cheese moons at the restaurant where I work.

I confess that I was eating fried cheese on Tuesday.

I confess that I met Laurie Smith at Mezzaluna. She was full of gracious southern hospitality as I fawned all over her telling her how much I liked her. I got to meet her son with whom she was pregnant on the show Trading Spaces on TLC.

I confess that I feel old when I work at the restaurant. When you can see the broadside of 40, working with 20-24 year olds makes you realize how young you aren't.

I confess that I have NOT read The Help I want to but just haven't gotten around to it. I will be reading it soon and going to see the movie. Even my hubby thinks it looks interesting but that is his confession.

I confess that I know nothing of Team Edward or Team Jacob. I was told today that I can't be part of the cool kids until I read the books. So I will begin the Twilight series so that I can go to the midnight showing on Nov 17.

I confess that I have been busier than a one legged cat covered in poop. I don't see any downtime in the foreseeable future.

So let's hear it! What do you have to confess? I can't wait to hear it!

  1. Have fun reading Twilight. I read it, liked it OK, but can't stand all the hype. Really, I read it to find out what people saw in it. And to this day, I still don't know! Happy Friday.

  2. I think I will feel that way even though I read Harry Potter and got the hype with it!

  3. I have not yet jumped on the Twilight bandwagon. I just can't bring myself to do it. I like my vampires all grown up and sexy, not teenaged and angsty.

  8. I confess that I haven't read or seen any of the Twilight saga...and I don't plan to! :)
There is enough drama in my life without adding vampires.
I had to stop by when I saw your name on another blog. My husband's grandmother is named Serita! I know it's spelled differently but I adore Granny and her name.
    Blessings,
    Ann-Marie

  9. You will go back and forth between Team Edward and Team Jacob through various periods/books. It is an ever-changing journey for me!

Heading up to 40 myself in 1.5. SIGH My husband and I always think everyone around us is our age, but lately we are finding they are all younger. We think our same age friends look older than us - we may be delusional. I need to blog about this!
    Thanks for visiting!! :)

  12. Mrs. Peterson, I am glad you understand!

Ann-Marie, I like that we have the same name. People think I am some ethnicity other than the white girl I am but I am not! Tell her I said hello!

Kerri, I was thinking the very same thing! Maybe a joint bloggy venture on aging...we could call it Pimples and Wrinkles

Bonnie, i like reading your blog.

Date Girl, they are delish! Burn the roof of your mouth good! And it is a 1 legged cat covered in poop but a 1 legged man might be interesting!
