These pickles are so easy! Get and sanitize jars. I use all kinds of different sizes! I get 2 packages of Mrs. Cages dill pickle spices(Walmart or grocery store) and vinegar and water. Follow the directions on the back and cut up cukes into the shape/size you want and place them in jars. Pour liquid over the cukes and seal and place jars in water canner. I keep mine in the fridge! They stay crispy longer. This year I bought Ball's Pickle crisper to help out as well. Thanks for wanting the recipe! We tried them today and they are so good!
WOW! That is a lot of pickles. We did this last year, but this year we had to bypass the garden because my husband was not going to be home to keep it up. Military training has kept him away most of the summer. Hopefully though we can get one going again next year, I loved the pickles we made last year, but having tomatoes was my favorite. Nothing like a home grown one. I hope you enjoy your pickles!! :)
